Smile covers can be selected to match or contrast with other elements in your meditation or yoga space. You may choose a cover that complements the color scheme of your room or opt for a contrasting cover that adds visual interest. Since our cushions are used in various meditation practices, such as Zen, Vipassana, and mindfulness, they fall prey to wear, tear and occasionally stains.
This constant use can cause an accumulation of sweat, oils, or dirt over time. Having a removable cover for your smile cushion allows you to easily clean and maintain its cleanliness.
The cover can be removed and washed separately, ensuring that you have a clean surface to sit on. We recommend hand or machine was, cold water, a gentle cycle and mild detergent. Air dry is preferred as a dryer can shrink fabric.
To insert & align the cover, unzip and hold the smile zafu cover by its edges and open it up. Then align the opening of the cover with the top of the zafu cushion. Adjust the fit by gently tugging and adjusting the cover to ensure it is evenly distributed and smooth over the cushion. Smooth out any wrinkles or folds for a neat appearance.
