Shipping Rates
Shipping prices for continental U.S. are calculated with the following formula:
$5.00 base fee plus 11% of the total price of the merchandise.
For example, for an order of $100 it would figure as follows:
$100 x .11 = $11.00 + $5.00 base = $16.00 total shipping and handling charges.
This formula is automatically added to your order as you are checking out, so you can see the final total. 

Foreign and Alaska and Hawaii
Shipping prices for Foreign and Alaska and Hawaii orders are not reflected on our shopping cart. Although the standard shipping formula will show up, just ignor it. Also, orders of bulk kapok and buckwheat and some other bulky orders will cost more. If this is the case, we will email you of the actual charges for your approval before shipping. If you do not live in the continental United States, click here for a chart with the countries we ship to and prices for most items.

Shipping time
We ship most orders within 2-3 business days.

Regular ground shipping to California takes five business days in transit. The closer you live to North Carolina, the sooner your package will arrive. Please let us know if you need it sooner than that.

Most packages are shipped via UPS. If you would like your package shipped through the US Postal Service please let us know. There may be an extra shipping charge due to rate differences.

How To Order:
Simply click on the item you want to order and you will enter our secure shopping cart. You will be prompted to either return to the site for more shopping or to check out if you are finished shopping.

Shipping prices will be entered for you on the shopping cart. You will be sent an auto-responder email message shortly after ordering. It will tell you that your order will take up to two weeks for delivery, and that if you need it sooner you should contact us and we will offer you different options for expedited delivery. Sometimes there is no extra fee.

Returns policy:
We strive to deliver products which are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and durable. We know that choosing a sitting device which works for each person's needs and preferences can be a process of trying products until the fit is right. Therefore we offer a full guarantee on our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied, simply return products for refund or exchange. We will refund the price of the merchandise. But please call us first so we can help you decide what your best options are.

We offer this service with no processing fee. The only risk to the customer is that you will not be refunded the freight charges and you will need to pay for shipping of any products back to us. If you wish to replace the returned product with something else, you will also need to pay the shipping costs of that.

1) Item (s) must be in new condition.

2) Item (s) must be returned within 21 days of receipt.

Directions for Returns:

1) Secure product in a box and include a copy of your invoice and the reason for the return. State whether you would like an exchange or refund. Be sure to include a credit card number, if needed.

2) Address box to Carolina Morning Designs, Returns Dept., 8110 Highway 80 South, Burnsville, NC 28714.

3) We will promptly either send a check or refund you credit card, depending on what you would like.

Everything that we offer is guaranteed against defects. We will replace or repair a defective product at any time. Contact us in this case.
